About Go Car Charge

The UK government has a target as part of their Road to Zero strategy, to see at least half of all new cars sold, and 40% of new vans, to be ultra-low emission by 2030. The latest information from the government indicates that there were more than 235,000 pure-electric cars on UK roads at the end of March 2021. 10.7% of new vehicles were EVs by the end 2020 – a significant increase from just 1.1% of new vehicles in 2015.

UK Electric Car Chargepoints

Recognising that more EVs means that more people will need car charging points, Go Car Charge was founded in 2021, by Tom Saevarsson to support electric car chargepoints for domestic and commercial use in the UK. He believes that moving with the times and installing new technology should be easy and straightforward – including setting up a charging point for electric vehicles (EVs).
