Electric Vehicle Chargepoints
When Cotswold View contacted Go Car Charge about installing Electric Vehicle Chargepoints on their site we were very excited. From the moment we attended the first site visit to installation we could see why visitors are drawn here in their thousands each year from the breath taking views to the activities on site as well as the café if you just want that pit stop to admire the countryside.
Cotswold View knew that for the start of their new season in March 2023 they wanted to be able to provide their visitors with electric vehicle charging solutions. They understood that with more and more EV drivers than ever and the lack of chargepoints available they didn’t want their visitors to worry about charging their EV’s whilst on site.
Like most businesses they were unsure what type of chargepoints they were able to have and what would best be suited to their visitor needs.
After several conversations and site visits to ascertain the best solution for them we recommended the Rolec Quantum 22kW dual socketed chargers with the VendElectric back-office solution to ensure their visitors were getting a fast charge whilst receiving a revenue in return.
Groundworks began in February 2023 by the Go Car Charge team alongside Cotswold’s own team to ensure the cables were in place ready for installation of the chargers at the end of March 2023 just before opening the site for Easter weekend.
It is clear to see that the chargers look great and we know already that visitors to the site over the Easter weekend used the chargers to the full and feedback from them was very good.
Cotswold View had a vision that they needed to keep up with the demand for EV drivers to be able to charge their vehicles whilst on site and set them above other tourism and leisure sites that were not providing this.
When they get enquiries or questions about EV charging they are now proud to say that they do offer this facility on site.
At Go Car Charge we believe that more places like Cotswold View should be taking that leap in to the EV world and we was delighted to be a part of this journey with them.
